The Stone Pine (Cirmolo) is a conifer with extraordinary therapeutic properties. Its characteristic sweet, not too strong scent, enhanced by its resin with balsamic power creates a magical ambience.
One of the most interesting aspects is undoubtedly the beneficial properties of this wood known since ancient times. The lingering scent of its wood can decrease heartbeats and promote relaxation, so it is a perfect ally for good rest.
It is also an excellent antibacterial. Studies conducted at the Austrian Joanneum Research Centre have scientifically proven that stone pine has a positive effect on stress reduction and the body’s ability to recover.

Freedom was designed to have low running costs.
Unlike the most common air purifiers on the market, with Freedom you DO NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE FILTERS, their effectiveness is guaranteed for 3 years. We recommend washing the filters under tap water every 2-3 months. The dust pre-filter at the rear should be checked from time to time and replaced if necessary
Fredoom has the lowest consumption in its class. It has a power consumption of only 9W and is powered at 12V low voltage. This means that the cost of energy consumption will only be 0.60 euro using Freedom 10 hours a day for a week.
It is a chemical reaction that mimics the chlorophyll photosynthesis of trees in absorbing and transforming pollutants into harmless elements.
Its operation follows precisely one of the simplest processes in nature. Photocatalysis mimics the well-known chlorophyll photosynthesis in transforming substances considered harmful to humans.
The chemical process behind it is an oxidation initiated by the combined action of light (solar or artificial) and the photocatalyst.
Since in nature nothing is created and nothing is destroyed, the photocatalytic reaction also has residues resulting from its oxidising action. Generally, the compounds that result from the transformation of pollutants are: Mineral salts and limestone, produced in minute quantities (parts per billion), invisible and harmless. Pollutants and toxins are transformed, through photocatalysis, into sodium nitrates (NaNO3), sodium carbonates (Ca(NO3))2 and limestone (CaCo3), which are harmless and can be measured in ppb (parts per billion).
Freedom can filter about 125 m3/h, equivalent to a room of 40 m3.
Freedom is extremely quiet. It has a noise level of less than 40 dB(A) at a distance of one metre. In other words, between 20 and 35 decibels is attributed to the noise generated by rustling leaves or silence at night.
We had several tests carried out by independent laboratories that validated Freedom’s effectiveness in eliminating fine dust, bacteria, VOCs, NOx, odours, mould and yeasts in the air. As an example, after 180 minutes of use, it has been shown to reduce more than 80 per cent of particulate matter. Below is a graph of one of the tests carried out by independent laboratories.
We currently have the result of tests on the nanotechnological treatment we use for our filters, where the effectiveness in eliminating 98% of the viruses inoculated on the surface in 15 minutes is evident.

HEPA filters trap most pollutants, bacteria and viruses, but do not destroy (kill) them. They remain trapped in the filter. For this reason, HEPA filters are to be considered special waste and as such cannot be disposed of in dry waste. Freedom’s filter system is based on PCO (Photocatalytic Oxidation) technology.
PCO technology was developed and used by NASA for the sanitisation of environments for aerospace missions, where one of the main requirements is the quality and healthiness of the air. The photochemical reaction that is generated allows pollutants, in particular bacteria, viruses and moulds, to be destroyed.
